We apply by roller 1 thick layer then let it dry for 48 hrs before we wrap them for sale. But I do mark where to cut out for the gas door and tail light wires if you want to cut them out. Our panels are all aluminum so they are easy to cut with a jigsaw with a bi-metal blade like 18 or 20tpi.
